The Central Texas IBM i User Group, CTXiUG, will have its first meeting on Tuesday February 9, 2021, at 6:30 PM CT.
In this world of lockdowns and "stay at home" orders this first meeting will be virtual, and is free. All you need to do is to register for it by clicking here. Spaces are limited, so register early to avoid disappointment.

Presentation description: We live in exciting times as IBM's Db2 for i team keep adding new SQL features and functions with every Technology Refresh. These additions are making it easier for IBM i developers to get to information that was previously only available via complex APIs, or was just not available. Simon will demonstrate a variety of tips, techniques, and ideas to take advantage of these additions to simplify many of your programming needs and daily tasks.
Bio: Simon's experience with IBM midrange started over 30 years ago in the United Kingdom. Currently he is an IT manager for bank here in Central Texas.
He has been writing his acclaimed blog, RPGPGM.COM, for seven years sharing his knowledge, experience, and giving many detailed examples of the latest RPG, SQL, and CL. He was recognized by IBM as IBM Champion in 2021, and an IBM i Community Contributor in 2020.
