November meeting

This will be the last Central Texas IBM i User Group, CTXiUG, meeting of 2022. It will be on Tuesday November 15, 2022, at 6:30 PM US Central Time.

This meeting is online, FREE, and open to everyone who registers.

The meeting will start promptly at 6:30 PM. The presentation will not be recorded, therefore, if you arrive late you will miss out.

Our presenter is Steve Riedmueller.

Presentation:  This session is designed for IBM i system administrators. It covers real-world problems faced by system admins, and how to solve them using SQL (with some help from IBM i Services). Don't be intimidated by SQL. It isn't just for developers! You can copy and paste the examples provided in this session to get started easily. Attend this session and add a suite of new tools to your system admin toolbox!

Bio:  Steve has been working on the IBM i platform since 2001 as a system administrator, responsible for security, performance, software/OS upgrades, IBM and third-party products, and much more! He is an advocate for IBM i and a big fan of using IBM i Services to make tasks easier and faster with SQL. Steve also enjoys being a mentor to colleagues, and participates in the N2i mentorship program.
